Eunice Martinez

Eunice Lee Burdette Martinez, 69, of Hopewell died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Roanoke, VA and had been a resident of Hopewell for the past 50 years. She was a retired operator for Allied Signal Corporation. Ms. Martinez was the daughter of the late Franklin and Grace Starkey Burdette. She is survived by one son, Eduardo M. Martinez, of Prince George, two daughters, Carmen A. Martinez of Prince George, Dolores G. Roache of Hopewell, 6 grandchildren, Maria and Michelle Martinez, Justice and Grayson Schlemmer, Evan and Adam Roache, one sister, Joan Jackson of Hopewell, two brothers, Thomas Burdette of Kure Beach, NC and Glenn Burdette of Prince George. The family will receive friends Friday, April 9, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 12, 2004 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Stanley Turnbull, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County.
