Eunice Lee Wyatt

Eunice Lee Wyatt, age 62, of Prince George, Virginia, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. After a courageous yearlong battle with cancer our precious "Granny" is now at peace. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Morris, her husband, Michael Wyatt; her brother-in-law, Morris Riddle and aunt, Eunice Waldt. Family held the keys to her heart and she is survived and missed by so many, including her son, Michael Louis Wyatt and his wife, Stacey; her beloved grandchildren, Bailee, Mitchell and Cooper; her brother, Dale Morris and his wife, Ann; her three sisters, Louise Riddle, Sandy Roney and her husband, Earl and Kathleen Lewis; nephews, Danny Morris and family , Wade Riddle and family; niece, Monica Fecht and family, Kimberly Hall as well as numerous extended family and friends. She was so proud to be family to so many and we were all made better by knowing her. Born in Germany, growing up in Hopewell and working at Fort Lee in her early years prepared Eunice for a successful career as a Human Relations Specialist for the Air National Guard. She married Mike, the love of her life and spent 30 wonderful years by his side. Together they enjoyed boating, trips to Nags Head, spoiling the grand kids and in retirement, volunteering throughout their local community. After losing Mike suddenly in 2013, Granny rallied to overcome deep grief. She continued to travel and share her sense of adventure, culminating in a trip of a lifetime experience in Europe with her granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27th. The family will receive friends following the service.
