Eureno Louise Brooks, 92, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She is the daughter of the late John Ford and Emma Harris Grammar. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Brooks, Sr.; son, Glenn Brooks; late husband, Johnnie Brooks; siblings, Claude Ford, Hudson Ford, Edward Ford, Mildred Hawkins, and Estelle Hodges; great-grandson, Aidyn Millis; and special niece who was more like a daughter to Louise, Tammy Kruse.
Louise was employed with Dinwiddie County Public School as a Bus Driver for 42 years. She was the hardest working and most caring woman in the world. Her strong faith in the Lord never failed no matter what happened. Her church meant everything to her. She had a warm smile, and her greatest passion was her family who she loved dearly. She was loved beyond measure.
She is survived by her children, Earl Brooks (Nancy), and Sue Millis; grandchildren, Lori Elder, Wayne Millis, Nicole Collins (Jason), Billy Brooks (Brooke), and Melissa Logan (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Brittany Elder, Berkley Elder, Ava Millis, Ethan Millis, Whitney Collins, Sara Logan, Bella Logan, Grayson Brooks, and Jaden Brooks; great-great-grandchildren, Brycen, Kaycen, Tycen, and Lilliana; siblings, Shirley Mayes, Gladys Dawson, and John Ford(Carolyn); and special brother in-law, Ray Dawson; a special cousin, Thurman Hubbard.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 at In His Footsteps Christian Center, 27118 Reams Drive N. Dinwiddie, VA 23805. Interment will follow at the Brooks Family Cemetery.
