Eva Landon

Eva L. Landon, 72, of Prince George, widow of Frederick W. Landon, Sr., passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Russell P. and Gladys Gibson Skidmore. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell. Mrs. Landon is survived by a son, Frederick W. Landon, Jr. and wife, Connie; daughter, Pamelia S. Henry and husband, David all of Prince George; grandchildren, Jennifer Landon-Neubauer and husband, Jens of Germany, Jonathan F. Landon, Sr. and wife, Kimberly, Samantha J. Landon, Jessica C. Reiter, David R. Henry, Jr., Angela J. Henry all of Prince George, and Jeremy W. Reiter of Hopewell; great-grandchildren, Andrew Landon Sundbeck of Henrico, Jonathan F. Landon, Jr., and Ian P. Landon both of Prince George; sister, Hazel Nazelrod of Newport News; brothers, Patrick Skidmore and wife, Vonda of West Virginia, Russell P. Skidmore, Jr. and wife, Doris of Newport News, and Ronnie Skidmore and wife, Darlene of Maryland; nephews, Patrick and Richard DeWitt of Newport News; nieces, Robin Clutter and Amy Thomas of Maryland; numerous other nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life and â??A Time to Rememberâ? will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 31, at Greenfield Senior Living (formerly Mayfair House), 590 Flank Road, Petersburg.
