Eva Frances Treaster

Eva Frances Browder Treaster, of Hopewell, Virginia, died April 27, 2022. She was born February 26, 1925 to the late John Thomas and Eva Browder of Petersburg, Virginia. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Clair E. Treaster, Sr.; her son, Francis Keith Treaster; and daughter-in-law, Judy Price Treaster. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Hopewell and the Women of the Moose Chapter 1180, Hopewell. She loved to dance, cook family meals, and was a perfectionist when it came to sprucing up her home. Frances was a very loving person who captured the hearts of her family, friends, and anyone in her company. She is survived by her son, Clair (Junie) E. Treaster, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very devoted friend, Kay Bickings. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia.
