Evelyn Edwards

Evelyn Duesberry Edwards, 85, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Virginia Duesberry; her husband, James Edwards; her sister, Jean Hazard; and her brother, David Duesberry.

Evelyn was employed with Ukrops as a deli clerk for many years prior to her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on her front porch relaxing and watching nature, especially the wild birds. She loved spending time outdoors. Her family will remember her as having a fun loving and witty spirit.

Evelyn is survived by her two children, Tami Smith and Michael Edwards; her grandchildren, Regina, Michael, Victoria, Heather, Rebecca, and Sarah; multiple great grandchildren; and brother, Danny Duesberry (Terry).
