Evelyn Maynard Ellis, age 80, a resident of Dendron, Virginia died on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Sentara Obici Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Ellis, a native of Dendron, was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Stella Edwards Maynard and her husband, Thomas Edward Ellis; brothers, Earl E. Maynard and Elwood Maynard.
She is survived by her sister, Alda Wray Warren; sisters-in-law, Becky Maynard and Helen Maynard and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Baconâ??s Castle Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity. The family is being served by the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home where condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
