Evelyn Griffith

Evelyn Sebera Griffith, 84, of Hopewell, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Griffith was born in Prince George County and had been a life long resident of the Prince George-Hopewell area. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Mrs. Griffith was the daughter of the late John and Barbara Veseley Sebera and the widow of James Alex Griffith. Surviving are one daughter, Robin G. Waite and her husband Richard of Prince George, two sons, James Joe Griffith and his wife Kathy of Chesterfield, Alan Wayne Griffith and his wife Genny of Disputanta and four grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan Waite, Keith and Joe Griffith. A Christian Wake service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 7PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8:30 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 11:00 AM in St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Bond, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
