Evelyn Mae Moore

Evelyn Mae Dancy Martin Moore, 87, of Claremont, NC, passed Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home. She was born August 30, 1934, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lawrence Dancy and Bertha Viers Dancy. She was a school bus driver prior to her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Orville Martin; second husband, James Moore; son, Marty Martin; and brother, Elmer Dancy. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Hall and husband, Joe, of Claremont, and Lora Robinson and husband, Ray, of Tennessee; son; Jerry Martin, of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Chester, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
