Evelyn Rudy

Evelyn W. Rudy, 84, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. She loved to travel with family, reading, watching her favorite TV shows, but most of all spending time with her family and grand dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver Rudy; Grandson, Daniel Rudy; and sister, Marion Webb Chiarky. She is survived by her son, Jon Rudy (Angela); granddaughter, Nikki; daughter, Judy Clements (Thomas); grandson, Mike Clements (Cameo); great-grandchildren, Dylan and Lorelai; and brother, William Howard Webb.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Wood's United Methodist Church, 7200 Hickory Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wood's United Methodist Church. The family is being served by J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home - Petersburg Chapel.
