Evelyn Scruggs

Evelyn Marie Scruggs, 84, of Petersburg passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Scott Cimburke; her husband, James Edward Scruggs, Sr., and her brothers, Joseph and Charles E. Cimburke. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Brenda Edwards and husband, Robert; son, James E. Scruggs, Jr.; a special member of the family of whom she thought of as a son, Jerry Lee Simmons; grandchildren, Kimberly Gibbs and husband, Troy, Christopher Scruggs and wife, Kim and Shannon Cox and husband, Bobby; great grandchildren, Madison Quesenberry, Skylar Gibbs, and Cassidy Gibbs; brother, Clarence Cimburke and wife, Shirley; her caregiver, Missouria Whidbee and a host of friends on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
