Anna “Evelyn” Caudle Inge Skinner, 91, of Dinwiddie, passed away on August 15, 2013. Born in Chesterfield, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jimmie Coleman and Lois Owen Caudle; and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Junius “Toby” Edward Inge, Jr. and Charles B. Skinner; two brothers, W.A. Caudle and James Caudle; sister, Yvonne C. Watterson; and sister-in-law, Hilda F. Caudle. Evelyn worked at the Petersburg Savings and American Trust, (Bank of America) and retired as a bank officer after 30 plus years of service. She was a former member of Elm Street Baptist and more recently of First Baptist Church in Petersburg and a proud member of the Quota Club. Evelyn was an excellent cook, loved to smile and sing, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Richard O. Eley (Evelyn), Junius Edward Inge, III, (Cindy); four grandchildren Anna, Ellen, Jeb and Ashley; two step-grandchildren, Cindy and Dwayne; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jessi; great-great-grandson, Alexander (5th generation); two sisters, Mabel C. Hamner and Jeanette C. Miller; sister-in-law, Dorothy H. Caudle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to give a special thanks to Crater Community Hospice and other caregivers, G.G., Gloria, Brenda, Michelle, and Keddy. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to First Baptist Church, 235 W. Washington St., Petersburg, VA 23803, or Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Rd., Petersburg, VA 23805.
