Evelyn R. Torres

Evelyn Roman Torres, 80, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Roman, Sr., and Petra Mojica; and her brothers, Pedro Roman, Jr., and Manuel Roman. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Damaso Torres; daughter, Lynn Torres; daughter, Lori A. Rojas and husband, Juan; grandchildren, Joshua Ramos, Alejandro Ramos, Yerik Rojas, and Nicolas Rojas; great-grandchildren, Rosalynn Ramos, Jamiliz Ramos, and Elianna Ramos; and her brother, Louis Font; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Calvary’s Love Ministries 118 S. 11th Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
