Everette Thomas Kitchen Jr.

Everette Thomas “Tommy” Kitchen, Jr., 59, of Maysville, NC and formerly of Petersburg died Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was born the son of the late Everette T. and Dolores Brown Kitchen and was also preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Kitchen. Tommy was a graduate of Petersburg High School and worked for over 36 years with Colombia Gas of Virginia before retiring as a Senior Fitter in 2012. He is survived by his two daughters, Toni Corona and her husband, John and Tiffany Hilton; four grandchildren, Tahra and James Rogers and Landyn and Jaxyn Hilton; one uncle, Mastin Kitchen; one aunt Sandy Hawkins; one cousin Doris Droddy and many other loving family and friends. Tommy will always be remembered for his generosity and his happiness, and always having a positive attitude that touched many lives. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26th at 6:00 PM in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with a visitation to follow until 8:00 PM.
