Faye Butler

Faye Rose Butler, Chester, VA died Thursday, November 23, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey C. Butler, III; her sister, Rita Fern Rose and her parents, Desoto and Della Carty Rose of Caney Ridge, Dickenson County, VA. She is survived by her children, Bradford Everett and wife, Debbie of Atlanta, GA, Billy E. Bookout, Jr. and wife Karen, Petersburg, VA, and daughter, Janice Faye Crabtree and husband Jeff, of Havana, FL; six grandchildren, Christian, Jamie, Scott, Kate and Matthew Everett and Joseph Bookout; three brothers, JayMacks Rose and wife Glenna, Jimmy Rose and wife Sue, all of Dickenson County, VA., D.S. Rose and wife Glenda of New Kent County; one sister, Betty Eribarne and husband Rocky of Rutledge, TN; lots of family and great friends and her treasured companion, Bill McBride. She graduated from Dickenson Memorial High School in April 1948 with honors. She was Clerk of Dickenson County School Board for two years and retired from the U.S. Government in 1988. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday November 28, a memorial service will be held Wednesday November 29 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. The family will also receive friends at Clintwood Funeral Home in Clintwood, VA from 6 to 8 PM Friday December 1, a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 2 with the Rev. Joe Sluss officiating, interment will follow in Rose Cemetery, Caney Ridge, Dickenson County, VA. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity.
