Julia Faye Perkinson Jefferson, 76, of Dinwiddie Virginia passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Faye was the daughter of the late Emmett Hudgins and Julia Meade Lockett Perkinson, and is survived by her daughter, Kelly J. Wilson (Pat) and grandchildren, Elizabeth Meade and John Patterson (Jack).
Faye was born in Petersburg, Virginia and graduated from Dinwiddie County High School. Faye worked for Alstom Power Company, from which she retired in 2010 after 25 years.
Faye enjoyed bowling and was also accomplished in crochet work. She was a loving mother to Kelly, and undoubtedly, her most treasured role was being Nana to Meade and Jack as well as many other "adopted" grandchildren and her special grand dog Nattie. The family would like to extend an extra special thank you to Les and Debbie Ryan for all the years of love and care they gave to Faye.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 11 AM at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg. The family would prefer that all guests wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
