Ferdinand F. Eyler, 81, of Chester died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at his home. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. He was an employee of DuPont for 30 years. He was predeceased by a son Norman J. Eyler. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary F. Eyler; two sons, John F. Eyler, Sr. and wife, Terri of Chester and Franklin A. Eyler and wife, Sherri of Ramseur, NC; seven grandchildren, Hope E. Hancock and John F. Eyler, Jr. both of Chester, Mary B. Eyler, Grace A. Eyler, Adam C. Eyler, Anna M. Eyler and Faith A. Eyler all of Ramseur, NC; two great-grandchildren, Christopher E. Hancock and Hunter F. Hancock both of Chester; two sisters, Marian Reichert and Lucille Hensley both of Chester; and two brothers, Marvin Eyler and wife, Mary Frances of Colonial Heights and Jessie W. Eyler of MA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be registered at
