Fernanda Ann Smith

Fernanda Ann Smith, 79, wife of the late SSG Oscar Paul Smith, Jr., passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. She was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Louise Marie Cucchi DeGruccio. Fernanda worked at Hardee’s for over 20 years. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Diana Hoover (John), Tina Grant (Eddie) and Michele Fussell (Tommy); 2 sons, Paul Smith and Gregory Smith; 7 grandchildren, Adam Smith, Anthony Smith, Annmarie Barrington (Jared), Corey Grant, Kayla Grant, Brianna Smith and Landen Frewer; great-grandson, Jonathan Barrington; brother, Joseph DeGruccio; and sister, Annette Garofalo (Raymond). The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. All other services will be private.
