Florence Marie Mueller

Florence Marie Mueller, 76, of Chester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Born in Hopewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Guy Brittle and Alma Lee Barkman; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Arthur Mueller. Marie is survived by her devoted partner, John Chaplin; one son, Billy Schlager; a daughter, Theresa Park (Don); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Leggett and Diane Devers (Burt); and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the funeral home.
