Mrs. FlossieTotty Childress, 76, of Hopewell, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Colonial Heights and was a life-long resident of the Tri-Cities area where she attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. Childress was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Sally Love Totty. Surviving are her husband, Percy L. Childress of Hopewell, a daughter, Sylvia J. Sale and husband Charles of Claremont, two grandchildren, Sally O. Pace of Farmerville, LA and Deborah A. Ellis of Colonial Heights, six great-grandchildren, Robbie, Rebecca, Jerry, Jeffrey, Samantha and Jay, two sisters, Violia Peters and Ethel Andrews both of Chesterfield and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at 2 PM in the Mausoleum at Southlawn memorial Park, Prince George County with Rev.
