Flossie Hayes Wright

Flossie Hayes Wright, 89, our loving mother, joined her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 1, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Petersburg, VA on March 3, 1933, Flossie was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Wray and Mary Lou Wells Wray; her husband of 41 years, Ernest J. "Sonny" Hayes; and her husband of 25 years, W. Curtis Wright; her only brother, William H. "Sonny Boy" Wray; sisters, Etta W. Allen, Gladys W. Smith, Myrtle W. Warren, Delores "Ann" W. Pollard, and Nancy W. Queen.

Flossie is survived by her loving children, Cynthia H. Santerre, and Kevin Hayes (Mary); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Petersburg, VA on Thursday, April 7, 2022 A funeral service will begin at 11:00. Interment will be immediately following the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Dinwiddie County Rescue Squad.
