Floyd Wilson Abernathy Iii

Floyd W. Abernathy, III “Trey,” born February 11, 1968, entered eternal rest on August 19, 2015. Loving son of F.W. and Brenda Abernathy, he is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Allen Stout. Godfather and “Uncle Boo-Boo” to Brandon and Caitlin Stout. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins to include Marsha, Huck, and Mackenzie Hargrave; Betty Ickes and family; Janet Kreemer, Susan Bain and family. Especially his loving 4-leg companions, Cooper, Brook, and Charlie cat. Trey graduated from Dinwiddie High School and attended Virginia Tech where he was a member of the “Marching Virginians” and was a lifetime member of Old Hickory Hunt Club. There will be an open house from 1:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, at the home of F.W. and Brenda Abernathy – 16215 McKenney Hwy, McKenney, VA.
