Frances Britt

Frances Bailey Britt, 93, of Waverly passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010. She was a member of Waverly United Methodist Church since 1946 where she was a choir member, a Sunday School teacher and served in other positions. Mrs. Britt retired from the treasurerâ??s office in Sussex County where she worked for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Eva Branch Bailey and her husband of 45 years, Clifton L. Britt.
Mrs. Britt is survived by her sons, Daniel L. Britt, and wife, Norma and Ronald C. Britt and wife, Anne; grandchildren, Donna Mounce and husband, Brian, Bailey Britt, Alex Britt, and Earl Coe and wife, Marilyn and great grandchildren, Austin Hague, Jamie Coe, Lee Coe, Paige Coe, and Chase Mounce.
The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Wakefield on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Waverly United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Ivor Cemetery.
