Frances Sasser Ferguson

Frances Sasser Ferguson, 91, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Garland Sasser and Margaret Tucker Sasser. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Ferguson; grandson, Robert Ferguson, Jr; sister, Loveday Bishop; brother, Garland Sasser, Jr; and son-in-law, J.T. Ahern. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her 5 children, Robert Ferguson, Sr. and his wife, Jeanell, Linda Ahern, John Ferguson, Edwin Ferguson and his wife, Sherrie, and Donald Ferguson and his wife, Rebecca; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Warthan; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
