Frances Harvell

Frances Ruth Harvell age 87 of Petersburg died Saturday, July 30, 2005. She was born in Petersburg the daughter of the late Elbert Leroy and Ruth Dozier Harvell and was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris H. Harrison. She was a charter member of Colonial Christian Church, was employed with N&W Railroad for 17 years and was a Deputy District Court Clerk with the City of Petersburg retiring in 1981 with 21 years service. She is survived by four nephews, David A. Tudor, Paul H. Tudor, Robert W. Tudor and Thomas E. Tudor; a cousin, Dorothy Perkins of Connecticut; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, August 2 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M.
