Frances Jenks

Frances Jenks, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Petersburg daughter of the late James B. and Emma Lucas Taylor. Frances grew up in Petersburg and raised three wonderful children. She was a loving grandmother and a lifetime member of Blandford United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life William B. Jenks and granddaughter Amee Jenks. Frances is survived by two daughters Mrs. Sharon J. Veazey (Keith) of Carson and Mrs. Rita J. Lane (Bill) of Colonial Heights; one son William B. Jenks, Jr. (Wendy) of Pleasant View, UT; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with burial at Bandford Cemetery.
