Frances Elizabeth Lythgoe

Frances Elizabeth Lythgoe, 89, died on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was born to the late Ralph and Nellie Lewis in Lunenburg County, VA. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Lythgoe; her son, Danny Lythgoe; and three brothers, Ralph Lewis, David Lewis, and Tim Lewis. When not out in her garden, she could often be found inside reading, quilting, or loving on her cats. She was a devoted member of Kingsland Baptist Church for over 60 years. Her memory will carry on in the hearts of her sons; George Lythgoe, Tommy Lythgoe (Connie), Larry Lythgoe (Lula), and Rusty Lythgoe (Lorie); her daughter, Pam Hall; her daughter-in-law, Mary Lythgoe; her nine grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Michael Lewis; and all who had the privilege to know her. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, at 11 AM at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior. After the service, there will be a procession to Dale Memorial Park for the interment.
