Frances Dale Mcnece

Frances Dale McNece, 67, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick and Viola Frances Murdock Vaughan. Mrs. McNece was passionate about her church and participated whenever she could. She served as a choir director and youth leader at Dinwiddie Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis C. McNece; four sons, David Sheffield, Charles Sheffield, Daniel McNece, and Andrew McNece; daughter, Joey Sparkman; grandchildren, Mary Williams, Charles Nelson, Chelsea Nelson, Madison Sheffield, Rex McNece, Aiden McNece, Collin Sparkman, Nathan Sparkman, Hunter Crews, Abigail Pfister, Gabriela Pfister; great-grandson, Collin Sparkman, Jr.; siblings, Frederick Keith Vaughan, James Collin Vaughan, and Alice Carol Baker; and cousin, Brenda Jarratt The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
