Frances Partin

Frances Walden Partin, 98, of Hopewell died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Partin was born in Lane, Idaho. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard Bradley and Ida Davis Walden, her husband, Bolling W. Partin, two daughters, Frances Sarah Nicholson and Sandra Grace Partin. Surviving are her three children, Beverly Lloyd Partin and wife Arline, Bolling S. “Stoney” Partin,. Sr. and wife June, and Elizabeth Ann Hatch, 13 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 2, 2004 in the First United Methodist Church, 502 West Broadway, with the Rev. Dr. Wash officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Column Fund.
