Frances Lucille Robertson Richardson, 80, affectionately known as "Mother Richardson," was called to glory on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her residence at 21141 Winfree Avenue, South Chesterfield, VA 23803. She was born to the late George A. Robertson, Sr. and Bessie Mae Tate Robertson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Fentress Green-Dodson, Carlos Green, Charlotte Green-Hinton, Dinean Green-Smith, Charvett Richardson-Mundy (Steven); 7 grandchildren, Toreaco Dodson-MaHaffey (Ronnie), Fentress Dinean Green-Wise (Harvey), Isaiah Payne, Jr., Christopher Smith, Jr., Divinity Ellis, DeShon Woodson, Jr., Tyree Smith; 7 great-grandchildren, Essence Green, Kha Mauri Vann, Michael Brinkley, Jr., Isaiah Payne, Kaleb Payne, Jaiden Smith, Braelyn Height; 1 great-great-grandson, JaCyre Townsend; devoted brother, George Robertson (Doretha); sisters, Marion Couch (James), and Lisa Davis (Barry); special friends, Rosie Hall and Barbara Hoosier.

She retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. where she worked 18 years. Afterwards she went on to pursue a career in nursing, she attended and graduated from Petersburg General Hospital where she earned with honors the certification Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from the State of VA, Central State Hospital where she worked at both Harim Davis and the Forensic Unit. Mother had many hobbies to include bowling, cooking, videography, photography, sewing, storehouse stocking and people watching. She was a published author and an expert crochet artist.

At an early age, Mother Richardson accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She lived her life by example and according to God's scripture. She was a member of Jesus Way Fellowship, Petersburg, VA, for 22 years under Dr. Apostle Elaine Johnson and was a current member of Open Day Ministries led by Pastor G. Wesley Friday. Her strength, wisdom, giving nature, and gentleness will not be forgotten. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, mentor and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
