Frances Shepard

Frances Walpole Shepard age 80, of Enon, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011. She was born in Hopewell, TN, the daughter of the late James E. and Cora Reese Walpole. Mrs. Shepard was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired hairstylist and former employee of Allied Chemical. Mrs. Shepard is survived by her loving husband, George W. Shepard; son, George Warren Shepard; daughters, Gail Shepard Craun, Susan Shepard Story and husband, William; grandsons, Dylan G. and Dustyn T. Shepard; sister, Mary Elizabeth Walpole Young and husband, Frank; brothers, Kenneth E. Walpole and significant other, Joyce, and Wayne C. Walpole and wife, Sally; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Dot Harris Houston and family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of MSICU and CVICU at Chippenham Hospital as well as Dr. Raymond Makhoul. A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 18, in the funeral home, with interment afterwards in the Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester.
