Frances Stallard

Frances Christinia Stallard, 68, of Chesterfield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born in Tazwell County, Va., she was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde Elmer and Pearl Lena Burress Shaw, two brothers and one granddaughter. Frances was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and served her community for 27 years as a rural mail carrier at Chester Post Office. She is survived by her husband, Emory Eugene Stallard, children; Greg Shaw and wife, Sue, Mitch Fletcher, Eugena Martin and husband, Tommy, Darlene Lewis and husband, Hayward and adopted daughter, Phyllis Terry and husband, John. Other family members include a sister, Loretta West, a special friend, Betty Wilkins, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the funeral home.
