Annie Frances Wallace Cox, 83, recently of Melbourne, FL, died January 10, 2012. Born in Sussex County, VA on October 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Wyatt V. and Esther Clark Wallace. She moved to Melbourne in 2002.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blanchard B. Cox, Jr.( 2009), after 63 years of marriage.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Daniel Wallace.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Spivey Burgess(Billy) of Melbourne Beach, FL; niece, Martha Marie Wallace Galloway (Billy); great nieces and nephew, Ashley, Bobby, and Faith of Nags Head, N.C.

Frances enjoyed and loved playing bridge and bingo as well as other card games. She had a special talent of making crafts as well as knitting and crocheting.

The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, January, 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Waverly Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to your favorite charity.
