Frances Wamsley

Frances Vaughan Wamsley, 60, of Matoaca, passed away Sat. June 24, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie Vaughan and was predeceased by her husband Donnie Wamsley and a sister Marion Fable. She was a former employee of Harrisonâ??s Grocery and spent her life in the Petersburg Matoaca area. She is survived by daughters; Elaine Wamsley & fiancé Karl Miles & Audrey Wamsley both of Matoaca, step-son; Fred Wamsley Jr., of Florida, sister Ellen Benfield of Colonial Heights, brothers; Gordon Vaughan & wife Loraine of Claremont, Doug Vaughan & wife Janet of Colonial Heights, Bobby Vaughan & wife Dee Dee of Sutherland, grandchildren; Meagan and Kayla Childress of Matoaca, Terri Wamsley of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Vanessa Thomas, Kathy Spivey, and Debbie Ricks. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 28, 7:00-8:30 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel at 11: 00 AM Thursday June 29, 2006; interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
