Frances Whitaker

Frances Rao Whitaker, 52, of Chesterfield County, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Alfredo and Rachel Whelan Rao. She was a graduate of Richard Bland College and Virginia Commonwealth University and was a Certified Public Accountant with Fast Tax. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Whitaker; step-son, Jerry Wayne Whitaker, Jr. and wife, Jennifer; mother-in-law, Myrtle B. Whitaker of Petersburg; brother-in-law, Russell Whitaker and wife, Gay; sisters-in-law, Carol Hunt and husband, Richard, and Bonnie Burton and husband, Donnie; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, January 23, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
