Frank Johnston

Frank Charles Johnston Jr., age 91 of Chester, VA, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011. He was born in Richmond, VA the son of the late Frank Charles Sr. and Lula Louise Woltz Johnston. Mr. Johnston was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gibbs Johnston. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII in the CBâ??s and saw service in the South Pacific. He retired from Dupont after 45 plus years of dedicated service as a mill wright, and was later employed with Heritage Chevrolet for over 15 years. He is survived by his son, Charles Johnston and wife, Carol; daughter, Lori Sandy and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Michelle, Peggy, Jordan, Olivia, David, John and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Nathan, Parker, Emma, Hunter and Alexis; sister, Virginia Whittle; brothers, Herbert Johnston, James Johnston, Herman Johnston, Robert Johnston, Richard Johnston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
