Frank (Pap-Pap) William Koch, Jr., 83, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born in Homestead, PA, on August 16, 1940, to the late Frank William Koch, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Snelgrow. He was also predeceased by daughter, Deborah Ann Koch; and sister, Audrey Ofcansky.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Wendy Hayes (Jimmy); and sons, David Koch and Jeffrey Koch (Gail); grandchildren, Constance Avery, Kaylee Hayes, Kara Hayes, Mallory Koch, Olivia Koch, Bryce Koch, Virginia Koch, and Carolina Koch; and great-grandchildren, Lilly Clark, Lorelei Robertson, and Avril, Bleu, and Linus Northrop. Frank will also be missed by numerous other family and friends.
Frank served in the Army from 1959 through 1965 in Germany. He was employed with Honeywell and retired after 46 years of service. Frank also served on Prince George Emergency Crew for 25 years where he served as Captain for several years. He loved to fish and spend time outdoors. Duchess was his "ride or die" companion, she loved to ride and was always by his side. Frank loved his family and friends and most of all spoiling his grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will be held, at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Road, North Prince George, VA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prince George Emergency Crew, Prince George Animal Shelter, or the Alzheimer's Association.
