Frank George Krenicky, 88, of Prince George, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Frank Krenicky and Agnes Martinec Krenicky. He was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Edward "Eddie" Krenicky; daughter-in-law, Deborah Padgett Krenicky; grandson, Seth Krenicky; brother, Wesley Krenicky; sister, Rose Krenicky Hartley; and sister-in-law, Helen Royal Doubleday, of Rockton, IL.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ethel Royal Krenicky; daughter, Deborah "Debbie" Krenicky Vlk (Paul Vlk); grandsons, Christopher P. Vlk (Lucero), Jeffrey P. Vlk (Courtney), and Daniel Krenicky ; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leonard Doubleday, of Rockton, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and National Guard during the Korean War. He worked for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company as a machinist retiring after 30 years. He was a life-long farmer in Prince George County for 70 years. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music, westerns, and playing the mandolin and guitar. He is loved and will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Southlawn Memorial Park.
