Frank Wade

Frank Ray Wade, 77, of Hopewell, died January 12, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Floyd County, Virginia the son of the late Hiley J. and Zula Reed Wade. Mr. Wade was a retired Research technician with Allied Chemical and liked gardening and yard work. He was well known for his tomatoes. Mr. Wade is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Marianne B. Wade of Hopewell; two sisters, Helen Wade and Ovella Wade both of Radford, Va.; brother-in-law, Claus Bartels and his family of Frankford, Germany; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss Son Funeral. A graveside service will follow on Thursday, January 15, at 2P.M. in Bermuda Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell Emergency Crew, P. O.
