Franklin Cook

Cook, Franklin D., 88, passed away on Sunday June 20, 2021. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy S. T. Cook. He is survived by three children, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at River’s Edge Bible Church with the Rev. Russ Sukhia officiating. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday June 25 at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Virginia State Police Emergency Relief Fund by making checks payable to the “VSPA-ERF” or online at https://www.vspa.org/donate/erf.html with a notation in the memo line of the check “Franklin Cook” and mailed to the VSPA Office, 6944 Forest Hill Avenue, Richmond, VA 23225.
