Franklin "Frank" Crowder

Franklin “Frank” Crowder, 76, of N. Prince George, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Born in Grassy Creek, NC, he was the son of the late E.C. Crowder and Ada Rose Crowder. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Small. Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara Crowder; one son, James “Jimmy” Crowder; four daughters, Pam Gulick (Don), Beverly England (Edward), Barbie Showers (Paul), and Tamara Crowder; ten grandchildren, Keith (Michelle), Bryan, Mandy, Laura (Joel), Donnie, Jason, Rachel, Kylie, Sarah, and Brandon; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was employed with Allied Signal retiring after many years. He was also the proud co-owner and operator of Crowder & Draper Transmissions. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed restoring cars and trucks. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
