Franklin â??Frankieâ? Price McQuage Sr., died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 after a short illness. Mr. McQuage was born on September 29, 1933 in Hopewell, Virginia. He retired from Hercules Inc. as a Maintenance Supervisor after 32 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Lance Graham McQuage Sr. and Hattie Price McQuage; brothers, Lance Graham McQuage Jr., and Thomas Joseph McQuage; a sister, Carolyn Jean Young; and a nephew, L.G. McQuage III. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol â??Jackieâ? Price McQuage; sons, Franklin P. McQuage Jr. and wife Tara, Eric L. McQuage and wife Samantha; grandchildren, S. Mason McQuage, Julia McQuage, Ethan McQuage, Abigail McQuage; brothers-in-law, Albert W. Price Jr. and wife Patsy, Anton W. Price and wife Joan; sisters-in-law, Marilyn McQuage and Nancy McQuage; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Hopewell chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Bermuda Memorial Park in Chester, Virginia with Minister Mural Worthey officiating.
