Franklin Daniel Talbott Sr.

Franklin Daniel Talbott, Sr., 74, of Petersburg, VA passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Raymond & Bessie Garner Talbott. Frank was the owner and operator of Talbott Home Improvements for many years. Mr. Talbott was a retired Senior Sergeant from the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary E. Talbott; two sons, Frank Daniel Talbott, Jr. and wife, Michelle, and Raymond C. Talbott and wife, Kirsten; one brother, James W. Talbott; two grandchildren, Jonathan and wife, Becca and Layne; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Blandford Cemetery, with the Rev. James Blankenship, officiating. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
