Frederick Anderson Scott, III, age 58, of Chester, VA, died on Saturday, March 1, 2008. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of the late Frederick A. Scott, II and Margaret Clark Scott. Frederick was a certified magician and a musician, traveling with a band that toured as the Box Tops during his early life. He is survived by four sons, William Lee Stanton of Powhatan, VA, Duane Scott, Frederick Anderson Scott IV of Danville, VA, and Matthew D. Scott of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, Tyler Reynolds of Tappahanock, VA, and Alex Stanton of California; a significant other, Vivian E. Steck of Chester; and cousins, Rob Clark, Sue Clark, and Ann Clark. A visitation will be held in his honor where family and friends will be received at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 From 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside interment of Mr. Scottâ??s cremains will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 3 p.m. in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
