Frederick Charles McDermott, Hopewell, died, Thursday, March 25, 2004 in McGuire VA Medical Center. He was born in Danvers, Massachusetts in 1921 and had been a resident of this area over 40 years. Mr. McDermott
was a retired M/Sgt. from the U.S. Army, and was retired from Defense Supply Center at Bellwood. He was the son of the late James Barry and Martha Casey McDermott. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces
and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2 P.M. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Petersburg, Va. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
