Frederick Molter Jr.

Frederick Molter, Jr., 81, of Chester, passed away on December 29, 2012. He was the son of the late Frederick Sr. and Mildred Weatherford Molter, and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dot Molter. Mr. Molter was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Molter is survived by his wife, Helen H. Molter; son, Frederick Molter, III and wife Beth of Chester; two daughters, Jill Edwards and husband, Mike of Florida, and Lynn Debutts and husband , Jim of Prince George; eight grandchildren, Melissa Jefferson, Frederick Molter IV, Ashley and Nicholas Molter, Kaitlyn, Lindsay, and Blake Edwards, and Cameron Sweet; one great-granddaughter, Grace Jefferson; and a brother Jack Molter and wife, Patty of Huntington, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Elizabeth Anderson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
