Gabriel Jacob Hendrick

Gabriel Jacob Hendrick, 21, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. Gabriel was born in Petersburg, VA, on November 24, 2002, and was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Margaret E. Hendrick; and his maternal grandparents, Ben and Phyllis Bunker. He was a 2021 graduate of Thomas Dale High School and was pursuing his Bachelors Degree from the University of Richmond. Gabriel was very athletic having participated in track and cross country in middle school, played travel soccer with the Richmond Kickers, practiced Muay Thai Kickboxing, and was an avid weightlifter and video gamer. Gabriel is survived by his mom and dad, Pam and Dave Hendrick; his brother, Thomas Hendrick; great-uncle, Nick Pride; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Gabriel was very loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
