Gale Hatton Miles

Gale Hatton Miles, 72, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born on April 14, 1951, and raised in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Hatton, Sr., and June Logan Hatton. Gale was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver J. Miles, Jr.; son, Oliver Jeremy Miles; brothers, Thomas J. Hatton, Jr.; and Gerry W. Hatton; brother-in-law's, Kenny Jeter, and Tim Campbell. She is survived by her brother, Larry D. Hatton (Mary Jane); sisters, Sharon H. Jeter and Tammy H. Campbell; stepdaughters, Melissa Anderson (Robin) and Terri Moody (Scott); Four grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Dinwiddie Chapel.
