Garland Harris

Garland Geraldine Harris, 45, of Old Woodlawn St., Hopewell, died Monday, March 1, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Marion, Va. Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Garland D. and Maggie Keen Hutton. Surviving are her husband, Ralph D. Harris and four daughters, Maria H. Coward, Banesa G. Harris, Krystle A. Harris and Kiersten F. Harvey all of Hopewell, a brother, David A. Hutton of Hopewell, three sisters, Brenda H. Cesmas of Irving, TX, Betty H. Patrick of Atkins, Va. and Barbara H. Johnson of Saltville, Va., three grandchildren, Halei Coward, Kaelynn and Xavier Harris. The family will receive friends-Tuesday evening from-7-8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2PM in the Hopewell funeral chapel with the Rev. Terry Bowden pastor of Chester Church of God, officiating.
