Garry Irvin

Garry Goodwyn Irvin, 53, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2006 at his residence. He was the son of the late S. Lee and Evelyn Mowatt Irvin and was employed with Verizon for the past 26 years. He is survived by his son, Christopher Adam Irvin and wife Mary Ellen of Carson; grandchildren, Jacob Lee Irvin and Sydney Leigh Irvin; brother, David L. Irvin, Sr. and wife, Teresa of Dinwiddie; nephew, David L. Irvin, Jr. of Dinwiddie; niece, Angie I. Allen of Colonial Heights; two great-nieces, a great-nephew; and special friends, Debbie Stewart and her son, Brandon Stewart. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Tuesday, January 10, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Donald O. Collins officiating.
